Cat Brush Review
Hard brushes, soft
brushes, wire brushes and more...there are so many choices, which one to get? And
which one is the best? Because you know Fluffy will expect nothing
less. We
here at Cat Brush Review will help you make your choice.
We even make it easy for you to purchase it once you made up your mind.
All cats need to be groomed! And
depending on the type of breed you have, that can influence the type
of brush you need. I'm sure we would agree that
felines are not finicky (sarcasm). Brushing or combing is generally the common way of grooming a cat. A
longhaired cat might need grooming daily to prevent their coat from becoming dull. Brushing also helps keep
the amount of unwelcome cat fur off the sofa, bed and other furniture in your house Not to mention how cat
hair has a instinctive attraction to dark clothes.
All cats like to be groomed! Ok,
maybe not all cats but most do. And some have areas where they would prefer you not to touch! Just try to
brush Ginger's tummy. To them it must bring back fond memories of when they were just little kittens and they
would get a bath from momma cat. In fact, one of the first encounters a kitten has with the real world is
being licked/brushed. Mommy cat does that to help then to start breathing on their own.
We have done a lot of work with non for
profit rescue centers (our favorite) fostering some cats with special
needs, newborn kittens and expecting mothers. As we have cared for many, we understand the challenges and
differences in grooming different types of breeds.
We hope you can benefit from our experience and
that we can make your shopping for a cat brush that much easier. We will be increasing our cat brush product
line and reviews of the next few weeks. Also, don't forget to check out our related cat articles.

-
When brushing you your cat, take this time to
do an overall health check. Look for fleas, ticks or any other parasite your cat could have picked up.
Use the cat brush to gently brush the hair the opposite direction to help see them
better.
-
If you suspect you cats might have fleas but they
are a dark color which makes it difficult to detect them an the above method did not work, when using a
cat brush do it on top of a white towel. This way if fleas fall off, you can see them.
Yeah...YUCK!
-
Also use this opportunity to check their ears for
ear mites (brownish/back gunky stuff in their ears). If they are
outdoor cats, look for any wounds they might have gotten from other cats or animals.
